Did anyone else read that former Hawkeye Jonathan Babineaux is accused of felony animal abuse after allegedly beating his girlfriend's dog to death or at least near death. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6485888?MSNHPHMA
Add animal haters to the long list of adjectives that describe Hawk fans.
But hey, its better than beating his girlfriend, right? (A la Pierce)

If it's true, then that's pretty sick, and I hope he serves some jail time.
I don't know how you can weigh the merits of killing a dog with beating a human, and pick one over the other. They're totally apples and oranges in my book.
Isn't cruelty towards animals one of the first signs of serial killers?

Highway Patrolman: "Do you know what the penalty is for animal cruelty in this state"?
Clark Griswald: "No officer I don't."
Highway Patrolman: "Well.........I'd imagine it's pretty stiff."

Jeffrey Dahmer put a dogs head on a stick when he was a kid. Is that the example you are talking about?

This truly makes me sad. At least a girlfriend has a better chance to defend herself. The dog doesn't stand a chance. I have no tolerance for this type of behavior.

Dahmer lived in Iowa City for a time, but left because of the climate.
