This thread is meant as a distraction for those of you that are tired of seeing who was the worst in our recent history.
Please let everyone know who you believe is the best coach to have ever set foot on ISU turf. Maybe it was pre ISU, or pre-Cyclones?
C'mon old timers, push for your favorite and educate the younger fanbase. I for one would love to hear some positive things said about some coaches of the past.

Sorry
I was at ISU for the end of the Donnie Duncan era, Jim Criner's coaching stint and stayed around for a little bit of the Walden years.
Not too many positives there, especially after the trouble we got into at the end of Criner's stay... | | |

Jonny Major's had many number one teams once he left. Jimmy Johnson has the two super bowl rings.
I would say Barry Switzer since he did put his feet on ISU turf.

If you're talkin' head coaches you'd have to say Earle Bruce. 3 straight 8-3 seasons is hard to argue with.
Jimmy Johnson, Mack Brown, and Pete Carroll have all been ISU assistants and have all won national championships and/or Superbowls.
