Adopt-a-walkon

This is a fun little idea that I had that can work for just about any sport. It's great when the bench gets emptied in a big win (and only in wins) and we get to see the walkon's ball for four or five minutes. I'm challenging you to take a look at the roster and pick out one guy you can really pull for when he get's on the court, be it a Mike Smith or a Mark Currie. It'll give you someone to check stats on as well as something to spark a little discussion here....

I grew up about 15-20 miles from Alton, so where do i stand in the mix? That being said, I lived in the room directly next to Chris Ceaser my sophomore year before he was even on the team. We used to go to the rec together so ya gotta show that man some love.

I have no hometown connection to any of them but I'd probably pick Streff. For least favorite Bergstrom, well all know his family's money toward the FB practice facility helped his cause out...
