I guess I can't really argue too much with this assessment. Kinda disappointed to see only 3 of our guys listed in the top 50 (by position).

Wow. Meyer went from being picked as the #1 QB of the Big 12 by many publications last year to not even in the top 5 this year. Can anyone say motivation?

ya.. i think thats a good thing though.. i think the expectations were to much last year and put to much pressure on the guys.. it is better playing as an underdog..

I will guarantee you right now that Alvin Bowen is better than Bo Ruud. Bo was about their fourth or fifth best linebacker last yea.

I hope it motivates Bret. If this doesn't motivate him what will? Also Blythe as the 5th best WR? If he wants to be as good as everyone along with himself thinks he is then he needs to be the best or 2nd best in the Big 12. Those two need to step it up and be leaders. Coaches or fans shouldn't accept anything less of a 4 year starter and that's what they both are.

I hope those boys are pretty dang motivated already and don't need written words to find it. But just in case:

The players should be embarassed about last season. What a waste. Probably the most talented team in 30 years, and they blew it. They had the potential, and it ran down their leg. Blame it all on Mac if you want, but there was definitely a lack of execution.
