Interesting read and to be honest, I mostly agree (and I am NOT a Ron Maly fan). I was lucky enough to be in school during the Orr years and also grew up only knowing
ISU BBall with Orr as head coach.
I have to agree that it has never been the same inside Hilton since Johnny left. Even with the teams Floyd and Eustachy put on the floor, there often seemed to be something missing.
Here's hoping we can recapture the magic soon with McD.
