This poll definately doesn't support the stereotype that we are a bunch of redneck farmers at ISU...

Not sure which college to select on the poll. Back in the day, IED&T (Industrial education and Technology) fell under the College of Education but in 2004 It was moved to College of Ag (?) and now goes by I Tech...Do I go with the updated College affiliation or the original...decisions, decisions.

I've got no problem with Ag, heck I grew up on a small farm that raised cattle and still own about a 1/4 of my parent's herd and help out from time to time. It wasn't our main source of income though but enough to keep you busy outside of work. It's an honest living and personally satisfying as well if you enjoy what you do. Also glad I expirienced it growing up as I learned a lot of lessons about having a hard work ethic that has stayed with me.

Re: What is your ISU College?

i took a psych course ... 346? ... "the psychlogy of women" - 36 females, 5 guys. good times.

This class is a bogus class. If anyone could find out the Psychology of Women they would be richer than Bill Gates. Basically They need to switch the name of the class around to "Women are Psycho 346".
Then you have something.

P.S. I love my wife. No really.

Human Sciences? I looked up the 2007 course book and it shows it listed under the College of Ag. LINK

I know that College of Ed is now Human Sciences but I also found this 2004 IED&T newsletter discussing the transition from ED to AG. LINK

All I know is that it was College of ED back in my time, so I'll go with the selection of Human Sciences.

Just a quick note...not necessarily trying to argue, but some counter points: there are more women than men in the C.o.D., and the only reason they appear "unavailable" is that they are in the buildings at all hours of the day/night/week and thus their only dating options are the people they see in the building and they're not out in the usual social settings. :) Trust me, that's who I was dating and hooking up with for the first couple years...

It is in the College of Ag. I think for next year they are expanding the name to the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences or something like that. That is just to get more prospective students to take a look at the college. They really aren't going to change a whole lot when that happens. That's how I understand it. BTW, I'm a junior in ITec.
