I am not sure if I have ever seen a more ugly ISU victory. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come - More wins.
My thoughts... Jiri - not much of a factor - but who was? it was a team victory. CM was the player of the game followed by CJ.

Jiri did stick with it and kept fighting after getting swatted a couple of times. He showed a lot of character in the game.

Final, please. I'm in Phoenix and ESPN online hasn't yet posted the box score.

Tylenol must make a mint after games like these. Walked the whole way back to my dorm with a headache. That's probably a combination of stress and yelling at the top of my lungs.
Holy McIntosh! I didn't even notice it until my friend yelled at me from several seats down asking me where the hell his points came from! He's probably the single reason we won that game, because CU apparently found a good way to hold down Jiri and Taylor.
I'd hate to say it, but I saw this performance coming from a long ways away. The body language of the guys on the court just before the game started gave it away, and it looked like a few players were arguing as they were walking off the court at halftime. Maybe some turmoil in the locker room?

Victory is a victory, who ever said it had to be pretty. Of course it sucks when your on the losing end.

I agree the win was ugly, but I would much rather FINALLY take the lead with 2 minutes left in the game and win by two then to be the team who was ahead until two minutes left in the game and lost it by two.
Thankfully we were on the right end tonight.

Yep, it was a win. Now UNI, Creighton, Nebraska, Iowa and Iowa State are probably fighting for a couple of Midwest NIT spots while State Champion Drake stays home.

For starters, I see maybe a 10% chance of us making the NIT without winning out the regular season. Secondly, Colorado is bad. REALLY BAD. We should beat them by 15, easy. Third, Jiri could not have pissed me off more. First rebound 28 minutes into the game. If any other big guy got half the looks he did, they would drop 20 every game. He simply is frustrating as hell.

My thoughts... Jiri - not much of a factor - but who was? it was a team victory. CM was the player of the game followed by CJ. I listened to it on yahoo radio at work. Seems like one of those games that I'd be happier if I hadn't been listening or watching, but just checked the score online later in the evening and only saw the W. But I'll take it!

Glad to see that the scoring load can be shouldered by others. 13 points and 0 turnovers for Corey. That's the player we were all hoping he'd be coming into the season. Good to see CJ get some quality minutes too.

McIntosh finally had a "breakout" game. Sure he scored 13, but the 0 turnovers is more important in my book.
Cory Johnson showed flashes again that he could be good in the future. I hope that just wasn't because CU is that bad.
Overall a much needed win...it was ugly, but still a win.
