I would say we'll beat CU and lose to Tech and KU.....which puts us right back at last year's 6-10 mark. Of course, with the standings the way they are, we have a lot to gain still!
HUH? We just beat CU. I assume a typo and you meant NU. If so, I wouldn't assume be beat ANYBODY on the road. NU could easily beat us by 20 in Lincoln. Better chance we lose this game than win it IMO because it's at Lincoln.
80% chance we finish 5-11
15% chance we finish 6-10
4.9% chance we finish 7-9
.1% chance we finish 8-8
NIT is probably not going to happen unless we win 2 of next 3 OR win 1 of next 3 and then 2 in the tourney.
I think this is pretty accurate. I think it is most likely we dont win the rest of the way out. We are not going to be favored to win the rest of the season, only hope we can pull a upset or 2.
2 of the next 3 are winable, depending on what team decides to show up. But I am not getting my hopes up, we just nearly lost to a notsogood colorado team on our home floor and haven't played 2 great halves of bball since the kansas game IMO. Maybe we are due for a upset.
There is no way most of us thought 7 wins. I said anywhere from 7-9 at the beginning of the season and got ripped about how I was drinking koolaid and people were asking where the wins would come from. I'm not patting myself on the back because I honestly think we will hit 6 now and it isn't like it was a wild guess.
