Re: Corey McIntosh
Corey gets a really bad rep, he runs the team well when he is allowed to do so, he doesn't score that much but he got the chance last night and did so. Corey's biggest problem is that he plays with Mike and if you notice when Mike gets the ball he rarely gives it back to Corey. Corey has the ability to slow the offense down and methodically run the offense until we get the right shot or right look, he isn't flashy, but he gets things done, he isn't as careless as Taylor. We are a better team with Corey at the point, you don't need to score to be a great player, he isn't there yet, but JACY HOLLOWAY!!!! Give the kid a chance, don't rip on him if he doesn't have another game like he did last night, that isn't his place on the team! He is doing a lot better running the offense these days though, we really need to teach Mike what to do with the ball, he needs the ball in his hands but he needs to be smarter with the ball, he needs to know when to get the ball back to Corey. The key to this team is those two guys meshing, cuz for most of the season they were on completely different pages!

Re: Corey McIntosh
I'm giving everyone the benefit of the doubt considering its a new coach, new system, and practically everyone is new. You could say in a sense that we are starting 5 freshmen. I'm sure everyone will get better and stronger in the offseason; C Mac, C Johnson, W Johnson, M Taylor, R Clark.... etc.

Re: Corey McIntosh
Iccyfan wonders why we struggled against Colorado? The guy who does most of the ball handling, Mike Taylor, has 8 of the 10 team turnovers, and takes several hurried shots and comits 2 fouls early in the game. Once he is on the bench, the rest of the team can start to function, and crawl back into the game. I would feel better about next year if I knew Cory McIntosh would continue to improve to the point where Garrett could replace Taylor.
