Laptop Price

Okay, I know this doesn't remotely have anything to do with sports... but its "Off-Topic", right?

Anyway, I'm considering trying to do a small upgrade with my laptop, picking up a slightly newer one. So I'd like to get a good price on my current one and then get a new one that's fairly cheap that is just a slightly upgraded version of mine with a little bit different hardware.

So, I was wondering if anyone could give me some estimates on what they think my laptop would be worth? Here are my specs:

Processor: 1.86 GHz Pentium M, 2MB L2 Cache
Memory: 1 Gig DDR2 RAM
HDD: 60Gig, 5400 RPM
Video: Intel Integrated Graphics, 128 MB shared (Intel 915GM)
Screen: 15'' XGA
Wireless: Intel 2915AGB, 54 MB/S
Sound: Realtek HD Audio, supports 5.1 Sound
CD-ROM: CD-RW 24X, DVD-ROM

Other extras:

4 USB 2.0 Ports
VGA Out
S-Video Out
Built-In 1.3M Video Camera
1 PMCIA Slot
About 1.5 years of Extended Warranty left

That's a new one. Mine will be two years old at the end of this August, and it has a bit of wear shown on the outside, although there is no real physical damage.

What do you all think? Any opinions on prices I could expect?

hmmm from the looks and depending on what type of battery it has. I would guess it would somewhere in the range of $300-$400. If it has a extended life battery maybe a bit more

I myself have never had good luck getting much money for a used computer.
Looking at the stats you have a pretty solid machine. You may want to check ebay just to see what they are going for, but you may be about to get $200 - $400 if you find the right buyer.

Wow. I was hoping to see something more than 1/3 or less for what I paid for after only owning it a year and a half.

Yeah with how cheap new computers are, the used computer market has really gone to crap for the most part. If you want to get the most out of it, ebay would probably be the best place as ISUkryo said.

Computers are worse than cars. As soon as you take them home the value just went way way down. But you never know. You can always ask for more and see what you get.
