Last remaining Mac era coach released?

Talking to a friend over the noon hour to see what we could do this weekend with all the crappy weather on the way. That doesnt have anything to do with this but he metioned that Todd Fitch had been let go. Is there any truth to this?

It was reported over a week ago that Todd Fitch resigned (voluntarily) to take an Offensive Coordinators job with East Carolina. It was a definite career move.

He was not "let go."

Was this an agreement between Fitch and Chizik to have Fitch stick around long enough to get Bates signed?

Who will be Fitch's replacement? Has that been determined yet?

Thanks for clearing it up. I hadnt heard anything about this until today. Glad that he left on good terms.
