My time at ISU spanned two different mini "eras", early on being the Mayor-Meyer-Michalek (sp?) and my last 2 yrs being with TF's crew of JC, Dedric, Cato etc....
overall, of course the Mayor was one of the all time greats. But I truly enjoyed watching Dedric Wiloughby play, he had a smooth as silk jumper and every time he shot it Hilton was on the verge of erupting. For an honorable mention, Kenny Pratt had so ridiculously good moves down low for a guy his size.

Willoughby was so damn clutch in big games, that was fun to watch.
I believe he was talking about his favorite for the time he was/is in school (he said 2 yrs)....and if you were a cyclone starting last year.....that would be hard to find a favorite player.Quote:

I was talking about the 2 years I've been in college. Last year was a pitiful season. This thread isn't about the BEST player in your time, but your FAVORITE. If it was the best, I'd probably have to say Stinson or Blalock. But as for favorite, definitely John Neal.. This is a question of personal opinion, not definite fact, so don't call my opinion 'worthless'.Quote:

I'm with ya on that one. Neal was an instant celb. after the 2 threes he dropped on Iowa (which was awesome if you missed it). I was happy to see them using him more later on.Quote:

Since I've never been a student at ISU, I'd have to use the times where I lived with my dad while he was still attending ISU. I'd have to say the one thing I remember is Lafester Rhodes' 54 point explosion in the ot win against Iowa. So I'll go with Lafester!
