heard today that blalock was being assigned to the sioux falls skyforce of the nba d league. not sure how credible the source is as it's a girl-no offense. she does however have a good in with the skyforce as she was one of their dancers last year. if this is true, then he would be curtis stinsons opponent for thursday nights game. went to bothe the pistons and the skyforce sites and can't confirm anything yet, but will continue to check in the following days. stinsons Dakota Wizards are currently in first place of the d leagues eastern division and he is averaging 12 ppg to go along with 3 boards and 3 assists per game.

stinson just had a good game too.. scored 18 pts.. would be interestin to see them against eachother

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.
ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

Detroit assigned Blalock and another Piston and both played Tuesday night. Blalock had 6 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in 18 minutes. Be interesting to see how Stinson v Blalock comes out Thursday, wish I could watch.

bummer this didn't happen. just found out some bad news. the first being that will did get assigned to the skyforce of the nba d league. the 2nd is that stinson was cut by the dakota wizards yesterday. unfortunate that they couldn't have waited a few more days to let these 2 cyclone greats meet up again on the hardwood. in wills 1st game he had 6 points, 7 assists, adn 4 boards. so far tonight he has just 2 points and 4 assists.

harsh... he wasnt playing that well for a lil while but he wasnt getting the minutes.. but then he had a 18pt game now they cut him.. im confused..maybe he will try out for the team will is on?

Curtis could have just wised up and realized he needs to get his butt back overseas for awhile. I can't imagine they just cut him out of the blue, there has to be something else to the story. I feel bad for Stinson, he just doesn't have the NBA type of game, even though he's very talented.
