What is your Nebraska Verdict?

Will we win in Lincoln on Wednesday?

1. We just barely beat them earlier.

2. Aleks Maric has been told to go and score no matter what.

3. Jamal White is gone for Nebraska, their scholarship players are way down - worse than ours.

4. The long trip home from Kansas is now a long trip back to Lincoln.

5. We have not done well on the road.

6. Mike and Wes are shooting poorly. Jiri can be doubleteamed.

7. Corey McIntosh is doing much better the last two games. Cory Johnson is still playing smart.

8. Jessan has wilted as a senior.

9. Brock has been removed from the floor.

10. Huskers have only one tall player who is 50 pounds heavier than Jiri.

11. We need a win to even consider NIT.

12. We can only get back to 7-9 after TT game.

13. The fire may be out for Rahshon if he is in McD's doghouse.

14. We all agree Wesley is tried.

15. Ross is even slower this year in stepping out to guard his man.

16. We lack the shooters to win big.

Now - what will the score be?

Wow I agree with all points except #7. Good post.

Also add.. Nebraska plays long hard fought game with Mizzou and got a LOT of calls.

Dont know so much about getting tired or wilting with our guys, or that we are playing people better than we are on a nightly basis.

Neb scores 65

My heart wants to see us win, I'm just not sure if there's enough gas in the tank.

ive said it b4 and i will say it again..
i all depends on what team shows up.. if its the team that played ohio st close the whole game.. i think we win.. if its the team that showed up at the last game.. we will get creamed..

and y is every1 stil bashing on ross and corey?

You stop Maric, you beat Nebraska. Our coaches had a solid game plan against Nebbie in January, I expect the same Wednesday.

I think we can pull it out, I know we beat them at hilton, but this team still wants to win. They are not going to give up now. I win at NU is very possible and in a way they will want to redeem themselves before the last game of the season at home vs TTU.

Jiri's last chance to out-do Maric. He did so the first time we played the Huskers this year - hopefully he'll do it again.

Jiri could use some "redemption". He hasn't exactly played well the last couple games.

I think the Cyclones were beat before they stepped on the floor at Allen field house. They didn't have Tinsley telling them it was "just another Gym." Nebr. is not that intimidating. We have two more chances for redemption, but have not played well in Feb. The wins against Baylor and CU were as Larry used to say were, "who we played and where we played them." The truth is, we are not gong to the NIT even with 3 more wins, so they will be playing for pride only. Will that be enough? No

It's all going to depend on the defense and rebounding. We can't score more than 55 points.

If they shoot well, we won't win. If they don't and we rebound, I think we have a good chance to win.

My prediction: If they score 60, they win.

I don't think we win another game this season. Nebraska wins by at least 10. On a side note...the last two games we've started out down 18-4 and 22-4. How about we start games by attacking the basket a little more? Dodie Dunson had a quote in the Sunday Register about the team not being patient enough...well, when we are patient we turn the ball over and get bad shots late in the shot clock. I think this team plays better and has a better chance to win (particularly at home), if they just go out and play instead of trying to slow the tempo...

Nebraska will be favored by about 10 and I would probably still take the Huskers. Our team peaked early in the conference season while others are still improving.
