I think there is a little reason to be concerned if you are a DEI fan...2 blown engines yesterday. This is coming after Jr blew 3 or 4 while practicing at Las Vegas this off-season. Something isn't right there...
Martin seems to be sticking with his part-time plan after reading something today. However, if he is leading in points halfway through the season, I'm guessing him and his 01 Army team will reconsider.
brianhos do you realize your arrogance on this topic? To me this is similiar to the thread on why ISU fans can't stand Hawk fans. You have an attitude that you are superior to those that follow NASCAR. You have called us hillbillies. Hawk fans call use hicks. Any different?
I guess my sarcasm was too subtle. I am refraining from any negative nascar talk until I am more educated on it.

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. - Benjamin Franklin 1775
I am a DEI fan and I just about threw the TV out yeaterday until Jr. gave a bow to the infield. He saved the car which was cool, but he seemed pretty concerned about the engines which isn't good for the team. He hasn't liked the engines yet this year, so hope they get that fixed or it will be a long year. Have him and Truex on my fantasy team so yesterday was brutal, even though Truex was on my bench. Mears and E.Saddler didn't give me anything. two weeks to get the problems fixed then hope DEI can make some noise without dropping oil all over the track.
Yeah Bowyer has been driving well if he didn't get wrecked at the end of Daytona he would have finished 6th or 7th there after having to come back after his penalty and he raced really well yesterday too. He is currently 6th in points right now and how can you not cheer for a guy driving the Jack Daniels car.
1. Who appears to be the favorite for a championship after 2 races
2. Who has the most work ahead of them?
1. Harvick and Kenseth have been up front at the end of both races. If not for a loose number 5 car and a flat tire, those two would probably be at the top of the standings. I expect them both to continue to do well. In the end, the big name outfits that can spend on R&D (Childress, Hendrick, Gibbs, and Roush) will all have at least one car in contention.
2. DEI, Waltrip, and RYR have big hills to climb. The Dodge teams also seem a little weak at this point.
