With the women's team winning 4 in a row and two of those against ranked teams, does anyone think we'll have a shot at being ranked? The rankings come out tonight. 21-7 record is very impressive in a tough conference. I hope we get consideration at least! Probably not. If they keep winning and have a good showing in the tourney and dont lose alot of players next year, I think they may be ranked early next year.
we are up to 28th in the AP and the espn poll hasnt came out.. so it is very possible.. but honestly i dont want to be ranked any more.. because it just makes it so more teams want to knock you out the top 25
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

I couldn't agree with you more. I would rather be unranked at this stage, not that ranking really matters now.
