My excitement for Fball just doubled!
I am visiting my Fiance' in Cedar Falls this weekend and got a very nice surprise while I was walking around Scheels. I was planning on spending the $60 to get some cardinal and gold overalls for this fall, Scheels in CF is selling them for $30!!! I have been wearing them around all afternoon because I am so excited, spring game tailgating is just around the corner. :biggrin9gp:

Haha, nice! I wish the Scheels in Coralville had a better variety of Cyclone stuff... they have a Hawkeye shrine with two tv's and practically all Hawkeye gear ever made, and a measly little section of Clone stuff :rolleyes5cz:
Re: My excitement for Fball just doubled!
Scheel's disappoints me, they have even 2:1 hawkeye crap at the store in West Des Moines, but I still buy lot's of Clone apparel because the Nike shirts they have their are tight. But Iowa has a lot more stuff.

I like my shirts to be a little roomy, so I think I'll stay away from the Nike shirts.

I feel your pain...I stock up every time I'm back in Ames.
Re: My excitement for Fball just doubled!
Well, if they'd ever step on it and build that new mall in Ames (or at the very least build a stand-alone Scheels) we'd have our very own Cyclone shrine.
But ya gotta admit the Scheels in WDM is VERY nice. The gigantic whirlybird Cy in the ISU section brought tears of joy to my eyes and had me cursing myself that I left my cell phone in my car.
And that sale's been going on since Washington's B-day. I drove from D-port to Waterloo to spend $65 on my grey Nike ISU "Bump & Run" hoody, and instead I spent $35 on the sweatshirt, $40 on the B-ball shorts, and $15 on last year's Nike scarf that I wanted badly but forgot about. Until that day...
Still, the Scheels in Coralville has the best stuff in these parts of Iowa. Kinda sad in my opinion, enemy grounds has the best of our stuff...
