kxno?
let me find my careface
Did you think this wouldn't be talked about today?
And is it bad that yet again in the winter, we're already talking about a game months away?
Personally, I love it.
Is he for, or against the showing at Kinnick? I really hope they do it, it *might* look good for them on the outside, but in all honesty it is going to **** off the donors and hurt their fanbases "travels well" reputation when the people that stay are the ones that ticket prices don't even effect anyway.
i am listening right now on the internet. This guy is a HUGE *********.
Nothing like a Hawkeye bias radio show. They even whine when they have their own show
Let him. Like I said earlier, Hawk fans can feel the tides turning in Iowa. They are shaking in their little black and yellow booties.
His true colors are definitly showing today. Typical Hawk dribble
Makes a good case about the Big 10 looking at expanding their conference schedule from 8 games to 9 or 10 games. If that happens, it would be very tough for Iowa to continue the series with ISU.
I don't care for this continued $90 is too much crap though. Jon, the Iowa fans are going to buy those 4000 tickets - easy. Doesn't matter if they cost $150 - fans will buy 'em. And that's what they were worth on the streets last year...well over $100 - Pollard is just getting some of that money instead of the scalpers eating extra good that night.
I still can appreciate the idea of what Iowa is looking to do with the game party/watch at Kinnick. If we did something like this, we'd be all over it.
What I love about all of this is that the $90 price only affects the high-level donors who are able to buy the tickets, and to them $90, is nothing, so the whole point is moot. Anyone that has the opportunity to buy the tickets wouldn't sit in a stadium to watch the game on TV anyway.
I pretty sure I cried less than this in my first 3 years of life!
What these Hawks don't realize is if the athletic department wasn't charging $90 it was the ISU season ticket holders that bought them in the past and sold them on ebay and other means for the profit. JP is only cutting us out of the loop and keeping the profit himself. So if they all need to get together to cry about it in Kinnick, then have fun!!!
Somebody needs to get Paul off the damn phone.
