Already tied last seasons conf wins with 6
Going for 7 against Bobby Knight on Sat.. what better reason to have to get out of the house after a couple crappy snow storms.

Re: Already tied last seasons conf wins with 6
I wish we had a better year, but considering what we should expect with this team if we could win the last one and the first B12 tourney game, it really wouldn't be a bad year.

NO reason not to attend the Texas Tech game!
Go to the dang game people. The fellas put up a great effort tonight, they deserve a good send off to leave the underclassmen thirsting for next year. Saturday night, Tech on the bubble, Bobby Knight in the house. Let's put 14,000 in Hilton and send the Raiders crying home. Attendance has been sparse this season, so let's set the pace for next year! GO CYCLONES Boom.....transfer the karma -

I'm pretty impressed with the 2 conference road wins as well.

Re: Already tied last seasons conf wins with 6
Never realized that we now have the same conference wins as last year. That is awesome especially when you take into account GMAC in his first year with a bunch of second hand recruits(as reported by certain sports writers prior to BB season) compared with Morgan having 2 players who were hyped to be All-Americans, but with the lack of discipline fizzled out.
I am so much more excited about this team and the potential we have with McDermott.

How many big 12 road wins did we have last year. Kind of nice to see 2 in 1 season considering we didn't see any for about 4 years.

Road wins rule. The old line from Tim Floyd was "Little boys win at home, men win on the road". Almost nothing better than sending a home crowd home in silence.
BTW - Greatest road win for ISU BB? For my money, it is the '00 game against KU at Allen Fieldhouse. Down 11 with 4 minutes to play, Tinsley leads ISU back. Fizer drills an off-balance 17 foot shot to silence the crowd. AWESOME!

Yeah, he also got hit in the arm by Kenny Gregory as he was releasing it, causing him to bank it in.

At Texas when Carr went off in OT was sweet as well. Was watching that game at the Champs in Des Moines. The place was going crazy.

Re: Already tied last seasons conf wins with 6
Tinsley's two wins in Allen Fieldhouse were incredible. Also, our last NCAA team Homan's senior year was sweet. Curtis was very Tinsley-esque that game and it basically sealed a tourney birth with that win.

The OT win at #2 ranked Kansas two years ago was a pretty amazing game as well. I remember that game being televised nationally on ABC and just sitting on my couch in amazement and happiness after it was over.
