I'd like to be the first on here to congratulate Ross on one hell of a game. His defense was critical down the stretch to slow down Maric. He was tough tonight and with the difficulties he's had this season I'm really hoping he can carry this through the end of the season and into the offseason.

Good for Ross, people have been down on him. Maric is the best match-up of any center in the Big 12 for Ross, he didn't have to worry about any outside threat. That being said, Ross was what GMac wanted him to be all year, tonight.

It was good to see him get some good minutes. He had a chance to really throw one down for a change but there was a hand check foul while he was on his way. Too bad.

Where was Gray tonight? I would have thought a big front line would have been the way to go but that never happened.

Marsden had a great game. He's caught a lot of flack this season, but the guy seems to be a pretty cerebral player. He doesn't make a lot of mistakes. If he could get some weight on, he could make a good 6th or 7th man coming off the bench to spell one of the bigs.

i really think he has just been bogged down by that mono all year.

He did seem better last year at times then this year. It was good to see him play hard defense tonight!! You can never have to many big guys that play good D.

Speaking of guys some people have been down on lately, how about CMac showing up again tonight? He's put together a couple pretty decent games lately (relatively). Personally, I hate seeing negative comments on any individual player (whether they deserve it or not) because they're all just college kids trying their best, so I always like to see guys like CMac and Ross throw in a decent showing now and then.

Marsden and McIntosh were both huge tonight...if those two can put on some muscle, they could both turn into solid players for us...it's nice to see McIntosh being more aggressive lately on offense...big win tonight.
