No No No they need to steal trays from food service and goto Gateway Park(Disc golf course) and sled down hole 18.

An excellent point. Let's hope classes are cancelled tomorrow so y'all can do both. :)

Oh, and btw, any self-respecting student wouldn't have to go steal one, but rather, just use the one they've already stolen. Seriously, who doesn't already have one on hand? I thought those, along with a single spoon for late-night cereal binges, were standard issue.

Re: Classes Canceled

From my years at ISU, classes would be cancelled due to conditions too severe for students to walk to class.....only to see hordes of students trudging through the wind and snow and carrying beer back home.

I think the closing of I35 from here to MSP has something to do with classes being cancelled. If the state thinks it's going to be bad enough to shut down a major interstate, you can bet the university will take notice too.

Ha, I loved it that they had bins on every dorm floor at the end of the year to return everything you'd stolen throughout the year.

The one time they cancelled classes when I was there we ventured out in some brutal wind and scraped really thick ice off the car of the 21 year old that was going to go buy it for us. And it was worth it.

You need to get a keg and set it at the top of the hill. Also instead of the trays you can just throw trash bags over your body and go sledding down the hill it works great. Do they still have the ramp at the bottom of the hill?

Re: Classes Canceled

On the issue of tray sledding--about 3 or 4 years ago, my friends and I were heading down the staircase at Friley that ended at the dumpsters with stolen trays that we already had and a DS woman happened to be coming out of one of the Friley dining centers as we were walking past. She had the tenacity to CHASE US DOWN THE STAIRS yelling, "Stop! Those are stolen sleds! I'm calling DPS!" We gave up one of our trays, but the other made it out safely. The funniest part about the whole thing--she called them sleds. She knew what we were up to.

Yes that does work, but people like making ramps further down the hill and they get really compacted. And I can say in my 5 years there in ames, that I raked myself on those on more then one occasion

It doesn't feel to good lol

What a great day. The only class of mine that didn't get cancelled was bowling. Classic.

O.k., to be honest, I teach at a different school and to be even more honest, I bet that I want classes cancelled tomorrow more than any of my students!

I was going to say, most of my professors probably want classes canceled more that I do. Seriously though, it has potential to get really crappy out. BTW you are a teacher...isn't canceled spelled with one L?
