So, will he start Saturday? I'd like to see him and Jessan get the nod.

I think they should get the nod for the start.
Both have contributed good minutes this year and it would be a nice gesture in front of the home crowd.
IMO it is not so important that our 5 best start the game anyways. Give the seniors the nod and bring in the normal starting 5 after the first break or so.

I really hope Ceaser and Gray start, because they have both stuck through the tough times and really given us support when we needed it. I also don't think it's much of a crutch, as they are both very sound defensively, and do pose some threat on the offensive side of the ball.

I'm glad I'll be at the game and not watching it so I won't need to hear yet another lame Ceasar joke followed by awkward silence.
As far as the token start for seniors...I see both sides and support both of 'em.

if he hits a few more three's (started out strong, none recently) we could nickname him "The Salad Shooter" awesome - I give it a 10!

I was thinking about making a poster that said "Hail Ceaser!" to see what kind of reaction it would get. I really love the guy and wish we had him around next season. If he doesn't get the starting nod Saturday, I'll understand why, but I'll still be disappointed.

| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |
