ya.. i think Atl as long as they keep vick.. will be a very good team in 2 or 3 years.. because i think their offense will be pretty good now that mora is gone..

You can't be serious! Joe Horn is way too old...

As a life-long Packer fan, I've been conditioned to hate Randy Moss (and all Vikings), but I think I can find it in my heart to change if he dons the green & gold! I never gave too much credence to the possibility of him being a Packer, but this talk of Bus Cook (Favre's agent) as Randy's agent and possible contract restructuring has me thinking there might be something brewing.

Even so, I don't think it'll happen anytime soon. Nobody will want to give up a 1st rounder for him so there'll be a posturing period afterwhich he can hopefully be had for less...

Driver on the left; youngster from Western Michigan on the right and Moss in the slot would make for an exciting pass offense again!!!

Re: Busy day in the NFL...

dude i would much rather get horn and another WR later in the draft then get moss... moss is an idiot and is way to cocky.. yes i know horn isnt much better but randy moss reminds me of TO more then anything

edit..
found this at si.com

Despite continued speculation about Oakland and Green Bay having contact regarding a trade of disgruntled Raiders receiver Randy Moss, a source close to the situation said no team -- Green Bay included -- has called to inquire about Moss. There is no timetable driving any potential trade of Moss, the source said, because the Raiders don't owe Moss any offseason bonus of any kind. While Oakland is still thought to be open to moving Moss, any attempt to do is said to be in the "embryonic stages.''

Re: Busy day in the NFL...

If you look at the stats the Falcons didn't drop that many more balls then the leauge average. Granted their wide receiver corps isn't great, but ESPN made a big deal a couple weeks with some really bad drops... This kind of opened the flood gates on the hating on the Falcons WR...

That's why they call him the coach killer.

Re: Busy day in the NFL...

Vick is a great college QB trying to make his style work in the NFL. He is a below average passer with running back legs.

I read something last year about his unwillingness to change his throwing style. He's one of those guys that thinks he knows more than the coaching staff.

Something I haven't seen here yet:

Lovie Smith signed a 5 year/$22 million extension. Nothing like a $4 million raise (well deserved though).

Joe Horn is 35 years old and coming off two straight injury plagued seasons. What do you see in him that would be of great benefit to the Packers or is it simply a matter of you don't want Moss?

Not a big surprise but Bledsoe was cut by the Cowboys too.

Joe will give effort on a crappy team (Saints most of his career). Randy hardly tries on a good team and all out quits on a bad one.

Plus its looking like Randy has lost a step with his injuries - and Joe tends to play through his injuries.

you wouldn't want horn for long, but he's got 2 more productive years in him.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

This is the time of year when veterans get cut to save cap room for the next year. Happens all the time to good older players.
