Busy day in the NFL...

Steelers cut Porter, Bly to the Broncos, Saints cut Horn, Neal & Alstott resigned by the Chargers and Bucs and Bill Parcells will join ESPN as an analyst.

ESPN NFL link

I hope the Packers now go after Horn and not Moss.. i cant stand Moss...

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

Nah, bring Horn to the ATL. Vick needs someone besides Crumpler who can actually CATCH the ball...

My Roman Villas:
Friley-Godfrey (-66|126)
Helser-Woodrow (-61|122)
Roberts-Harriman (-74|133)
Welch-Ayres (-73|133)

Hey. If you saw any of the highlights last year Vick was putting the ball on the receivers' hands and the receivers proceeded to put the ball on the ground.

Is Vick polished? No. But, as opposed to many other seasons, it was the receivers and not necessarily Vick that were costing the Falcons' games

How come they catch the balls when Schaub throws them? Vick is amazing at running the ball, but he's been digressing as a passer.

Best trade the Chargers ever made to unload the pick for him for the NFL's greatest back in a few years and a better qb in drew brees.

Such good drafts in recent years, I hope they don't waste LTs window with a coaching carousel

i think this is an excellent trade for them. they needed to fill the position opposite of champ after the slaying of darrent williams. also unload whatever they were paying bell to cough up the football 1 or 2 times a game. they will still get well over a 1000 yards rushing this year even if it is by committee. crazy fast lbs and an unbelievable secondary will go far to help out the young cutler grow. add veteran wrs and a great blocking scheme and we just may be contenders again. is it football season yet?

vick is over-rated. He's an amazing runner, he's a below average passer. He's had 1 year with a passer rating over 80 (it was 82).

How many different OCs and head coaches has he gone through though? Maybe if he could be in the same system for more than a year or two, he'd put up better numbers. Also, under Mora, he wasn't allowed to audible, that's gotta hurt.
