OT: Smarter Than A 5th Grader

Anyone else watch this show? I really wonder how most of us would do on this show. Some of these questions seem so easy that they trick you into not thinking it through or I just don't remember the stuff from back then we don't use anymore. My fiance and I have had a good time fighting it out over this show, Jeff Foxworth and all.

Re: OT: Smarter Than A 5th Grader

ya i was about to start this thread!!! but ya.. it almost makes me think..was 1st-5th grade worthless? since we cant even remember anything from it..? haha ok maybe not worthless.. but u get the point..

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I was just watching this, too. The question about Ursa Major/ the Big Dipper would have gotten me.

Re: OT: Smarter Than A 5th Grader

I've watched every night this week! I would say I know all but 1 question each night. Then again, there is no pressure on me to answer and I'm still in college so I'm only one decade removed from the info.

I just watched it for the first time tonight. The Ursa Major would have gotten me too. For those of you that saw tonight the very first guy on 1st grade spelling. I certainly don't remember having to spell "allegiance" but for the adult it certainly should have been an easier question.

Great show.

A good rule of thumb. When in doubt...trust the fifth grader.
