Does anyone have access to how the number of National Cyclone Club memberships is growing?
In Pollard's "Taking the Next Step", he outlines goals as having 7,500 members in 2007 and 10,000 by 2011.
These numbers are from cyclones.com and show membership as of 8/8/06. Varsity...........748 Century.........1,941 State's 250.....1,121 Cardinal........1,231 Gold..............487 Gold Plus.........405 Captain's.........452 Victory...........197 Director's.........71 Total Members...6,653
FYI - He wanted 35,000 season ticket holders by 2011. I think we may break that record this year.

I think it was before last season that 35k was set as a goal.
at even the cheapest 150$ seats, 5000 more sold is an extra 3quarter million dollars which pays a few assistant coaches salaries. I predict the record by the end of next week and will get to 35k by the end of the spring practices.

The NCC is really a no brainer for fans. Even at the Century level ($100 for the year) there are ticket advantages and it helps all programs.

Why not us?

I wouldn't call it a no brainer. Ticket prices are up $100 a piece and the advantages of NCC are not what they used to be. I'm still a member but I dropped down my contributions.
Maybe it will mean more next year when they re-assign seats
