Who guards Jackson?

Does Clark stick Jackson with Taylor on Zeno?

I think that sounds about right.

Jiri needs to have a big game to avoid letting their big being the third scorer that usually seems to kill us.

Re: Who guards Jackson?

stick clark, ceaser, and westley on him.. and maybe even mix in a zone

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

Re: Who guards Jackson?

I was assuming that Rahshon, Dodie, and Ceaser would split time with Jackson, but I didn't realize that Zeno was 6'5" and Jarrius Jackson only 6'1". It will be interesting to find out.

Re: Who guards Jackson?

I think Jackson on Wesley would be ADV TT.

Jackson can really handle the rock and take it to the hole.

That was my point exactly mwitt

Re: Who guards Jackson?

the reason i said westley is because of how long he is, also i would say that would be if clark and ceaser cant contain him, and i also agree with tryin dodie

Re: Who guards Jackson?

One would think that the natural matchup would be Jarrius vs Mike, but I don't know if we'll go that route or not. I guess we'll almost have to because I don't think Mike would match up with Zeno well at all.

Re: Who guards Jackson?

I don't like ISU's chances if McD goes man-2-man the whole game and not mixing in a little zone...at the LEAST a little 2-3...i'd honestly like to see a 1-3-1 thrown into the mix.

Re: Who guards Jackson?

i think a 1-3-1 would be good too, have Rashon at the top, westley in the middle, jiri down low, and the guards on the corners...

Re: Who guards Jackson?

Put in Streff to 'Tayna Harding' Jackson within the first 2 minutes.

Oh wait, we aren't coached by John Chaney

Re: Who guards Jackson?

Here's an interesting stat.

According to ESPN.com, Zeno is Texas Tech's leading rebounder at 5.5 per game. Their top 3 rebounders per game are guards, and their best big guy rebounder is 6'8" 245 lb. Jon Plefka at 3.1 per game. This seems almost too terrible to be correct.

Hopefully Jiri can find double digits rebounding and Wesley can really get at it on the offensive glass.

Re: Who guards Jackson?

Their guards are great defenders. Hopefully we can move the ball well enough to get some decent shots tonight.

Its aweful frustrating to watch when we cant!

For some reason Im jacked for this game. I hope most people leave early and get there in time.

You're not the only one. Senior night, sold out, Bobby Knight, and both teams are playing for something. Hilton should be great.
