Pretty impressive that we got 10 since Mizzou only got 8 and OSU had 7 qualify.

no one has said this yet: FIRST Championship in the line of many for Cael and his guys!!!! TY Pollard and congrats to all these hardworkers! Now Let's bring home a nat'l championship!

GREAT NEWS!!

1982 was the last conference title. 19 - freaking - 82. I wan't even in high school the last time we won a conference title, and heck most of the people on this board probably weren't born.

This conference title was actually at the top of my own personal wish list for this year's wrestling team. I didn't even want to consider winning nationals with 6 freshmen competing. Now Cael has them in EXCELLENT position. Great job guys and bring home the hardware!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think all wrestling fans wanted this Championship this year after the first couple of duals and the Midlands champ. After watching our redshirts wrestle through the Big 12 schedule, I knew that if we got our entire team to Nationals (or even 8), we'd have a legit shot at taking the title from OSU and taking down Minn. Hopefully a new tide is turning in Ames under Cael!!

Chizik does have 11 other teams to compete with in football so we should cut a little slack:)
Imagine if we only had to play 4 big 12 teams in football.

I wish there was more teams in wrestling.
Hell of a job by the Cyclones though!! I was really down after we got smoked by Iowa.
What make this really awesome is its his first year with a young team.
So it basically sounds like it could come down to a couple of teams and us for the National Championship? I think we need to take out Minny...
