I thought $150 was the lowest they were going to go this season.... I haven't looked into it so I may be off on this one. (edit, I'm thinking football... my bad)
Anyone know for sure?

They may end up doing the same thing they did for football, and raise the price to $125 for 'em. But who knows?

I'll pay $125 next year if that's what they go to without a single complaint.
However, the wife and I have hopes to get into the lower level next year. Not sure how much that costs though. | |

| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

I looked into it a few years back, even back then it was $2500 min to get you into the parquet. We sat there last night, it was nice, but that is a lot of dubloons for basketball. Just get corner balcony seats and wander down and "accidently" sit in cyclone alley, about 1/4 of those seats are always open.

However if you do wander into unoccupied student seats, especially 10 minutes before the game begins, don't get angry when people around you stand up. That will make them want to punch you in the face.

I personally hate sitting in the balcony so i dont go to games at hilton. The donation for that level is a little steep for most people so i just watch for parquet seats on ebay and they occassionaly go up for sale.

I heard from one who has 100 level tickets that it was going to take $5000 to keep them next year. Don't quote me on that but that's what I was told. Right now it's $2500.

Wow... so, you're telling me, that with my teacher's salary, I'm only going to have to donate 1/4 of my starting salary per year to sit there? Wow... I think I chose the wrong career to have good seats after I graduate, damn. |

4 of us bought the $99 tickets and had a blast. Honestly Hilton doesn't have many bad seats. I bet at least 6 games we snuck down into empty Cyclone Alley seats or 100 level seats which are much better view but being as big of a basketball fan as I am I'll got to a game in Hilton any day no matter where I sit.

Now that is a huge donation to give to seat in the parquet or courtside. If your not a senior citizen or a family member of one u can only dream. I wonder if that will only be for new requests or everyone. I know that when they changed it 2500 they grandfathered in anybody at the old 1500 donation or higher.
