Looks like a big guard, and he can really add depth to the guard spots. With McDermott signing another player, does this mean someone is leaving?

Class of 2006 guard Marcus Brister is headed to prep school after this year at Duncanville (Texas) High School. The sturdy 6-foot-3 guard was outstanding against the H-Squad, scoring 27 points and dropping off eight assists. He was getting after it on defense and played with a lot of emotion. Brister said he will likely end up at either Heritage Christian or Mt. Zion next year.

Brister said he is holding current offers from Minnesota, Utah, UTEP and Southern but will focus on getting his grades straight at prep school next year. His recruitment will take on more Big 12 and Big Ten schools next year. His game is suited for the AAU/prep school scene. And that is meant as a compliment.

I see Mr. Brister is a Man of God: Duncanville, TX God's Academy.

I see at 6-2 (6-3) he weighs 200 pounds. It's gonna be pretty hard for opposing point guards to knock him around!!

2 Point Guards in the upcoming class and another in 2008 (Buckley)...

At least he is not 160 or 170 lbs. Hopefully he can drive and hold on to the ball.

Why would we grab another PG when we have Garrett coming in next year, and Buckley coming 08'? I am confused and worried. I will be shocked whomever it is that leaves.

If it were Jiri that were leaving, why would we get yet another guard? I highly, highly doubt it's McIntosh or Taylor since they would lose their final year of eligibility. That leaves Dodie, and that would really surprise me.
