Who do we get at RB now? Texans took Green, and honestly im not to upset, but do we go after som1 in FA or som1 in the Draft?
maybe Stevie will end up there haha.. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2787723 Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Re: Packers Fans
Packers really need to draft first-round talent at QB, hopefully something will work out through FA.
-
Re: Packers Fans
they already have rodgers as qb of the future
I thought I heard they might take Lynch out of Cal in the first round if he is still available,

Gado went to Houston for who? Morcency? (the kid from UM?) He's not an every down back is he?
Jamal Lewis and Dillon still haven't signed anywhere have they?
so many ?'s and I'm not even a pack fan...

Re: Packers Fans
QB?? noooooo, the way i see it, if we can find a RB in the FA we do that, then go after WRs,OL, and maybe a TE
now if Brady Quin some how ends up all the way to the Packers pick then ya i say pick him, but i think the Packers shouldnt go after a QB in the draft because i think you wait for next year to see what happens in FAs and who come out in the Draft, Hawaii's Qb will be a senior next year, USC's, and Louiville's Qb..
oh and Bret Meyer haha
i wouldnt mind Dillen.. that wouldnt be too bad, he is looking for a place to be the feature back

I hope to goodness they take a run at Michael Turner of the Chargers, who's a restricted free agent. Possibly they'll replace Ahman with a younger Cornhusker model, namely Correll Buckhalter (UFA), who's not needed in Philly with Westbrook and Ryan Moats. I've never really liked Chris Brown, but he's a UFA. Lastly, Najeh Davenport is a UFA and knows the Packer system...
Excepting Michael Turner, the other guys might be bargain bin signings....

I'll be surprised though, if the Chargers let him go unless the price is just way too high.

Re: Packers Fans
the most likely scenario is that they will draft marshawn lynch, the running back out of cal
-
Re: Packers Fans
It sounds like Thomas Jones will be traded from the Bears this off-season as well.
-
Re: Packers Fans
the chargers want a 1st and 3td round pick for Turner, way too much, but then again, the packers need a good RB..
but like i said b4, i say they go after dillen

Re: Packers Fans
There number one option will be Lynch. Turner is a restricted FA this year, so he is going to be staying put for one more year. I bet the Pack will sign a FA and then draft Lynch and have a Running back by committee

Re: Packers Fans
Draft a back (lynch mentioned) and pick up a 3rd down back through FA (ie Jamal lewis)

but like i said b4, i say they go after dillen I think Corey Dillon is just like Eddie George was a couple of years ago; too much mileage on the tires. My prognostication is Correll Buckhalter...
Final synopsis: if they don't improve the offensive line play, it won't matter who they have in the backfield...
