Now, I know the DMR likes to give the University of Iowa credit for doing good things, but this is a bit of a stretch....
"The 26-year-old Oregon swimmer adjusted her goggles, waved at the crowd and jumped into lane 2 of the pool before the start of the Special Olympics USA National Games race at the University of Iowa campus in Ames."
I just sent a letter to the editor of the DMR. We'll see if it gets published. I don't know why this has gotten me so steamed, but it has.
It's about time for a shotgun enema for somebody I think...... ..........

everyone...put away the pitchforks and torches....let's get back to more vital issues....license plate counting and battling CR
I sometimes wonder if they do stuff like this on purpose, just to irk readers. They probably have a pool going on how long before they get a complaint.
