Re: Seat backs for Jack Trice
During the Nebraska game last year, we were stuck in the section with all the idiot Nebraska fans. A few of them went up to the empty seat backs and tried to take them to their seats. Took them a while to figure out that they were bolted in place! Then they started whining like little girls about not having them for their seats.

- Nebraska fans trying to move bolted-down seat backs.
or
- The fact that there were any empty seat backs to begin with.

When I went to Lincoln for the ISU game a few years ago, we sat on old, splitered wooden benches...so they have no room to complain.

That's hilarious...you go into someone else's stadium and complain about seatbacks, people actually standing....what else did they complain about? That they didn't have a private bathroom?

That... and the fact the the refs weren't making good calls.... of course that could have been our fault - they couldn't see half the game from their seats because of the couple in front of them who wouldn't sit down.

I had a similar experience in Lincoln. Speaking of 'no room to complain,' were you also hemmed in on all sides by 400 pounders who complained constantly that you were infringing upon their space?
Yeah well, ya know, that's just, like uh, your opinion, man. -

I said nothing about the comfortability either.
Where do you pick up your calenders? I am pretty sure there is not 358 days in a year. Not even in a leap year when we add an extra day.
Why are you staring at empty seats for 3 hours?
When they finish bowling in the south endzone you wont be able to see the seats with backs on them from outside the stadium so you wont be able to tell that some seats look good while the rest look like concrete. -
Re: Seat backs for Jack Trice
I was charged $30 for the seatbacks this year ....the butt only pad, in a section where you have the permanant seat back. I think they were $25 last year. I like them for the cold weather when the aluminum pulls the heat out of your body.

I think some people are missing the original point of the thread, which I believe is improving the look of the stadium on non-gamedays.
