MLB 2K7
Anyone play it for the PS2? I haven't bought a game since EA Sports can't make an MLB game anymore, and I missed it. I saw 2K7 was only $30. Anyone know if it's a good game or if that would be a waste of money?

Re: MLB 2K7
I have it on 360 and am having a good time with it, still like the old MVPs better(gameplay). Some cool new options such a clubhouse with unlockable games and stuff. For only $30 you would be getting a heck of a lot better deal than my $60 for Xbox360, but then again the graphics on it are great.

Re: MLB 2K7
Did any of you guys play 2K6 or 06 The Show? I didn't really hear much of anything about MLB games last year. I was still mourning the loss of MVP.

Re: MLB 2K7
Didn't play either last year, I had one of the old MLBs (04 or 05) and was never a fan. I was in the same mourning stage just had to have my videogame baseball fix this year though.

Re: MLB 2K7
I played 2K6 for 360, it was a little glitchy and a little sloppy, but was fun enough, I heard they worked a lot harder for 2K7, whereas 2K6 was a bit rushed...I miss the 2K football series, damn EA had to buy out the NFL contract so no one else can make a game...MVP baseball was better than the 2K's, but 2K's bball games (pro and college) are both 10X better than the EA sports ones...

Re: MLB 2K7
All I played was MVP (and still would if they made it.) But unfortunately my only option was 2k6. I really like the football game, so I thought I would give it a shot.
Graphics are lacking. Game depth; lacking. Game play; lacking. But what other choice did I have.
So NCAA 07 came out so I trade it in to get credit towards the game. Now that its a new season, and new team, I figure lets get the new game. "cough"...old game. 2k7 is exactly like 2k6 on the current gen consoles. No updates except rosters. Very dissapointing. I also seem to find more bugs with 2k7.
But it grows on you. I like the pitchin system better. gagin where it breaks instead of where it ends up requires more skill and player knowledge. The scouting (inside edge) is nice and helps out a lot.
Overall for $30 is almost worth it. For the record, I would regularly spend the $50 on MVP.

Re: MLB 2K7
MLB 2K7 is a pretty good game. I've been having a great time with it on XBOX 360. Also last years MLB the show 06 for PSP was really good. Played that a lot. You wouldn't be wasting any money if your a baseball fan and bought MLB 2K7.

Re: MLB 2K7
I love the MVP NCAA Baseball, it was great, of course lack of ISU made me play for the Rice Owls!

Re: MLB 2K7
My local target put it out a day early accidentally for the PS3, wasn't supposed to come out until tomorrow for it. I played one game, and it is very different on the PS3 then the PS2, and 360. The PS3 version is fun, but difficult at first because it uses it's Six-Axis controller (kind of like the wii controller).
