Speaking of "New Look Uniforms"

Was browsing SI tonight and came across this story. I guess we'll be seeing previews this week, as Florida, OSU, Syracuse, and Arizona will be sporting them.

I like the tops. More of a track style Jersey. The shorts not so much. They look more like a private school girls skirts that have to cover the knees.

Better to be hated for who you are, than beloved for who you're not.

I dont think i like them...they look too casual or something. Like street "ballers" instead of organized basketball players.

It's odd to see form-fitting Under Armour tops with long, baggy shorts. I'm not sold on them.

Another link... I think they look rediculous.

How is an Aaron Agnew, or an Erin Hansen going to look in these things?

Re: Speaking of "New Look Uniforms"

Exactly, Colorado. I'm thinking of how Oliver Miller, Tractor Traylor or Big Vic would have looked in those things. Not every D1 quality player has the ideal figure. I'm not even sure that long and lanky (Hubalek) can pull those things off.

I'd like to see Corey McIntosh or Mike Taylor wear those long sleeve shirts under their jerseys.

I looked at the Nike Team site yesterday and they have about 6-8 styles for teams to choose from. Looks like we chose on of the most popular this year.

some of these team's big men are going to look quite ridiculous in these jerseys. The tops looks fine if you're ripped. Imagine Aaron Agnew in one of these. Even Big Baby of LSU. I mean, the guy's strong and big, but you thing he's gonna look like TO in one of these? fat chance.

Looks like Nike is trying to play catch-up with Under Armour. I think they look unbalanced, but if the players like them, so be it.

There's a storm brewin', and it's named Cyclone Gene.

Unless you are riding the tour de france spandex anything makes you look like a tool. Unless you are a smokin hot chick like the misses, then it is required.
