I will take bets that AT is on scholarship next year. It is easier for Coach to use that until whatever happens, happens. We are losing someone and/or someone won't make it in

I heard him say that on the coaches call in show. That was a understanding that Alex Thompson had when he transfered. If there was a schollie not used he would get it, but Mac told him that they needed guards and thats what they were going after. That works out great for the team.

I'm curious whether this is because of Thompson's efforts in practice this year or because of natural recruiting events. Does it say anything about what to expect from AT next year?

From everything I've seen/heard in practice, AT has looked like our best post player for most of the season in practice. This is definitely not saying anything about Alex's ability to help us next season, as he will be a huge addition!
