How about Ross Marsden? I know we lost this game, but Ross played great today.. it has been a very long year, and all season i saw people bashing on him, and really i didnt know why, but what ever the reason, it shouldnt happen any more, he played great today and i cant wait to see what he does next year.
| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

I think Walters and Heft said it best on the postgame. When Ross is completely healthy, he will be a more than serviceable backup to Jiri next year.

I agree. I also thought Cory Johnson played well.

I'm excited about the depth of next year's team. Even if Garrett and Brackins aren't world beaters, they should still provide some quality minutes. Plus, no offense intended towards Ceaser and Jacobsen, we'll have almost all of our minutes accounted for by scholarship athletes.

Ross and Corey M...
The two most improved players over the last 2 weeks. And probably the guys that needed the most improvement to take place too.
Nice job from them and the staff to get that ball rolling.

Nice job from them and the staff to get that ball rolling. McIntosh today: 5 assists....ZERO turnovers.
I was critical of him in the middle of the Big 12 season but he has definitely stepped up.

If all of these players work as hard as they can in the offseason and out on some weight, and get some nice jumpers, we may become pretty hard to beat next year, with the depth at all the positions.. it will be fun to see what the guys do over the summer, too bad i wont be able to see it 1rst hand because i will be in maryland, but cant wait to be able to come back and it be football season then all of a sudden be basketball season again

Seven forty-five, white on white that's $#@!in' Ross I don't know if anybody has ever listened to Rick Ross... but I die laughing everytime I hear that lyric because I picture Marsden rapping it. | | |
