So much sports validation/exclusion - no one can catch the classic Dodgeball quote... Originally Posted by cycloneworld It's called a joke. Lighten up dude. Yup, the message in my post was completely missed.

And brianhos is right...I have a feeling there will be plenty of opportunities to discuss during the dog days of summer.

Hey you know, it actually made me watch the daytona 500 during that whole thread. While I still don't see the excitement in it, it was not as bad as I thought, so I grew a little thanks to all the CF posters.

Re: Is anyone else sad and depressed
Never really watched Nascar myself until about 4 years ago. Alot of my friends were into it and one of them remodeled his whole garage, complete with big screen, fridge, chairs etc. Now every Sunday about 10-15 of us get together and all the drivers names go in a hat. $2 and you pull a name out of a hat. Everybody gets 1 turn then you can throw another $2 in if you don't like your first driver and so on. Winner take all and if you get lucky a couple of times a year it pays for the beer. Hella good time while the wives and kids go shopping or whatever.

"In some cultures, they only eat vomit. I never been there, but I read about it... *in a book*."
