    It was around 60 degrees here, sun shining and I had the window open, thinking, "I wonder if a tree has fallen through my house's roof, back in Iowa?"

    looks very much like the scene on Hwy 75 out of Souix Center to I-29 last saturday morning.........Finally made it Omaha to fly out of Iowa to home in New Mexico. I plan on pressing criminal charges against my company for making me come to Iowa in the winter.

    When we drove to Ames for the TT game we counted at least 75 cars in the ditch or stranded along the shoulder between Des Moines and Ames on I-35.

    A couple of weeks before that I counted 70 vehicles in ditch between Omaha and Ames. Not a good year.
