Chop Suey or F the system would be fine with me but I have a feeling the older folks wouldn't like it.

Ladies and Gentlemen would fit perfectly
| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

If you can't get excited/pumped up when the ISUCF"V"MB kicks into the fight song, with the cheerleaders, flags, and team running out onto the field, then something is wrong with you. Leave the canned entrance music to the NBA and the Squakeyes. That's part of the pageantry of college football.
Side note: At Viking's games they used to play a clip from the movie "Rudy" when the team was entering. Now I realize this wouldn't necessarily work because it's about Notre Dame, but it was pretty cool. It went something to the effect of "Nobody, and I mean nobody, comes into our house and pushes us around" If you remember the movie, it was a moving moment.

you must be a band member... the band is great,, yes.. however as a player, you need music to get your adrenaline running before that kickoff.. hell id play something between every play for the defense if we could

I'm sure Chizik will have this issue rectified shortly.
I'm with loki8838. It's college. Stop trying to turn it into a pro sporting event.

Go to an Arena Football game they do this and it is horrible. Noone should need that much distraction at a football game. It might be cool for one game but they don't change the songs so by the 2nd game on you want to blow up the speakers and kill the PA guy. I did an internship with the Barnstormers and will forever hate the song "take it to the house" b/c of the experience that you describe. The NFL is pushing the limits here as well. Leave college football the way it is. Good game on the field will create all the noise you need as a player.
As for the thread topic, I say that it has to be something akin to the rock anthems in the thread, but none have jumped out yet. thunderstruck is great, Let the bodies hit the floor works, although some mom's wouldn't like it. I don't care for down with the sickness either, just don't see how it fits. Whatever they play it should stop as the team runs through the helmet. That moment is made for our fight song.

You want an in-your-face song during timeouts, etc..
Trapt - Stand Up
That song makes you want to tear someone's head off.

I like the idea of Pantera's "Walk" as well, or some good ole Rage with "Bulls On Parade"
