I am proud of our boys and coach Mac. The season didn't pan out as wonderfully as many of us hoped but I will say that I am proud of coach Mac and the effort put forth by ALL the players. Yes, this includes MT. I only look forward to better things in the future. Wesley, you just might be special. Jiri and Corey M, congrats on the progress you made. Rahshon, you are a man and put forth great leadership, I applaud you. For the rest, thank you for your efforts and making this and fun and interesting season. I'm sad that its over, but I can't fault you or your efforts. Thanks for an interesting ride.
Best wishes,
RB

Agreed. This team did much better than expected. Imagine this....
Beat Drake on DD's last shot
Hold off Kansas for a win
Beat Colorado in boulder
Get a shot off against Texas Tech and win that game
This team would have been 19-12, 9-7 going into the B12 tourny. This team was SO close this year and is only going to get better. The future's bright with Gmac running the show.

I'll tell you one person I will miss...Jeff Bergstrom. Of course the guy was on the team because of his dad, but that doesn't matter; the kid was ALWAYS the first off the bench when a timeout was called or a basked was made cheering on his teammates. His enthusiasm and team spirit will be missed. Best of luck Bergy.

Nice post, Rickybaby. It was so nice this year to see a team that was coached and players that responded by playing hard and improving throughout the season. Be sure to let the coach and athletic department know how you feel

In the off chance that the players and coaches read this, I just want to congratulate them on a great season. Even though it ended at 15-16, there was much more to cheer for in the loses this year than there were last year. We saw effort. We saw determination. And most importantly, we saw progress! Remember the "close call" versus EA Sports to start the season in exhibition? That would not happen with the way the team is now -- with or without Mike Taylor, who I believe did not play in that game. I know it's a silly thing to compare, but the team is much better at this point than it was to start the year, which did not happen with last year's team.
This year was a building block, and a building block nearly had the potential to get us into the NIT, or an NCAA bubble team. Unlike this time last year, I actually can't wait for next season. Thank you for giving us something to look forward to next winter.

My family went to games last year and this year. We definitely had more fun this year. There was just no energy from the team or the crowd toward the end of the season last year. This year we knew it was a rebuilding year but it was an electric crowd. The student section seemed more charged this year too.
P.S. I loved the way the student section harassed Bob Knight this year. And the "left, right, left, right, SIT DOWN!" cheer was great when an opposing player fouled out. My kids thought that was fantastic.
Go Clones!
