we would like to officially welcome you back to the N.I.Steve. We missed you last year. We even renamed it back to NIT instead of the NISteve. Thanks for not taking to long to come back and represent your home Tourny. We will see if we can get you a game close to home. Like St. Louis or Chicago State. Sorry we will be unable to award you a home game. Nobody showed up last time we did that. Well good luck this year.

Although I am just as happy as everyone else the Squawks lost, we need to remember we are not playing in the post-season for the 2nd straight year.

We may not be playing but I would take our future over there future every day of the week. They can have the NISteve. I will trade that for a good future in the NCAA"s.

Let's also remember we're in year 1 of building a program under our coach and they're in year 8. If that's where McD is in year 8, I'll be highly disappointed.

Aaahhhh poor babies.....Their probably all in the locker crying because Purdue unfairly took their chance at being a 4 seed at the NCAA tourny since I am sure douchebags Podalak, Hansen, Dolphin and the other homers thought they should be.
I am sure they were all distraught over the unfair ruling by mean Judge preventing their hero from leaving the state to pursue his NBA career, and that was most of the reason why they lost.
I am sure an appeal to the Little 11 commisioner is in the works as we speak......

Question for the day: Can I still make season tickets work for FB and MBB if I move to Canada? |

The fact that we went 15-15 this season with no starters returning from last year is huge for us. I could care less about post season play. At least our losses were closer than EIU's 20 point loss.

That's it right there...Can't compare the two programs fairly right now...McD=1 year Alford=8...we may have no postseason, but iowa is back in the NIT, after losing to NW STATE (IDK where that school even is) in the 1st round of the tourney last year.
Like it's been said before, I will take our future of theirs ANYDAY.

Considering the crew we had this year won just as many conference games as last year when we were supposedly "loaded with talent". New coach + 80% of team brand new players +teaching discipline = us being in a hell of a lot better position the EIUCC after Disco Alfraud being there for 8 yrs.
I'll take our odds over theirs from here on out any day of the week...

Adam goes 4-16 in his last meaningful game. Nice choke job. Hope that stings Adam and his dad for a long time.
Iowa BB right now is very similar to ISU football and Mac late last fall. Diminishing fan interest. I think their AD pulls the trigger pretty soon.

I'm not convinced they'll be invited to the NIT.
