Ticket Sales Projection (I was bored)

So, this morning I got to wondering when we will break our season ticket sales record. I went back through some threads and made a quick chart of our ticket sales since March 1. I then took the sales numbers from the last four days (because we've been seeing a slowdown) and did a linear regression, and projected it out to when we hit 30,728, which turned out to be late this month. Can I say with any certainty that this projection is accurate? No, because it's impossible for me to project any future increase or decrease in the rate of sales, so this will have to do. Just something to satisfy my curiosity while we wait.

As season ticket sale numbers continue to come in, I will update the image as appropriate.

It's good, but a higher-order regression involving more terms would probably be more accurate, barring any unforeseen events.

I haven't gotten to make a nerdy comment like that in quite some time!
