i guess the big 12 doesnt have enough mirrors...
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -
Re: Another Big 12 vs. Big 10 issue...
Kansas and K-State is on ABC.... That's a bigger market than ESPN.
"Seven minutes to glory." -

Re: Another Big 12 vs. Big 10 issue...
You poor guys who can't get it on HD:
At least you get the game at all. I'm in eastern Iowa right now, technically a "Big 12 market," so the game is blacked out. Yet this isn't a Big 12 market at all since they don't even show Iowa State games here. Hell, we're lucky if we can get Iowa State on the radio here. On the rare occasions that we can, there's so much static that it's hard to decipher what is being saisd.

Re: Another Big 12 vs. Big 10 issue...
Living in Eastern Iowa makes it hard to be a sports fan.
Getting the Cubs was great, but not getting any Clones stuff was horrible.

Re: Another Big 12 vs. Big 10 issue...
Give it a few months for HD for big 12 to get most of the games in HD. Since most of the conference has the game in HD big 12 is next. Plus isn't the NCAA in HD?

Re: Another Big 12 vs. Big 10 issue...
everyone loves the Big 10. The old story. Here in Wisconsin, people hardly know the Big 12 exists. most can't name 5 teams in the conf.

Re: Another Big 12 vs. Big 10 issue...
But... the "biggie"... the Big 12 means 12. The Big 10 means... 11?

Its blacked out on ESPN, but not being shown on any other channel. Another reason to hate the Big 10!

Re: Another Big 12 vs. Big 10 issue...
I am just curious about how well the new Big 10 network will work. I'm sure the big national providers will have to pick it up, but I have a hard time believing that they can jam it onto some of the regional cable systems that aren't in the Midwest. If they can't, that could hurt their level of national exposure for recruiting.
