They just won to make it to the finals of MVC tourn.
pretty impressive for a team that only won 10 games i believe during the regular season..Maybe there will be 2 teams from iowa in the NCAA tourn.. wouldnt that be fun to play Drake in the NCAA Tourn!?
| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

To clarify, he's referring to the women's MVC tournament.
The Drake women won 13 games this year.

Yep, they were 10-18 heading into the tournament and will now take their 13-18 record into the finals...
Last year the #7 seed won on their home court, the year before the #8 seed on their home court...now the #8 seed is playing in the finals again. I now see why they want to put this at a neutral site.

Not only that, they are doing it without their best player and probably the best player in the state, men or women...

The Drake Women were picked to when the Valley this year, but they had a rash of injuries which obviously hurt them.
