Jamaal was not an angel at Iowa State. He won, and that was good enough for LE. But he had some problems in Ames as well.

I loved watching him play, but he was not squeaky clean.

LE kept him fairly well in check and they respected each other so it worked. i think he has had a chip on his shoulder and not respected coaching since he made it to the NBA, too bad if he really dedicated himself and listened he could be special.

I'm not sure who it is, but someone on the Pacers needs to go. Evidently, either Tinsley is the problem, or he needs to quit being a follower and man up.

The difference between now & when LE coached Tinsley is the $. Pro athletes are millionaires many times over. So if your legacy isn't going to be as a legend of the game (e.g. Jordan, Kobe, Shaq, Bird), IMO most of those guys are just living the life that can be afforded by a 20-something that makes $5-10M a year.

Yeah I am pretty sure that if you handed me 8 million a year, I might feel like I was above it all. Hell when we would get our financial aid checks in college, I felt pretty good.
