Next Year Big 4 BBall
Drake looses ALOT of Players right? They will not be very good. ( no idea what their line up looks like for next yer)
UNI loses 2 out of their 3 Best Players, McKowen and Stout. They do have some nice young talent, but nobody that can take a game over except Coleman (if you can get him the ball)
Iowa Loses Henderson and Haluska (starters: Freeman, Johnson, Smith, Tate, Looby)
They do get a nice 7 footer next year.
ISU returns everyone but Gray and had a nice class coming in.
PG-(Either MacIntosh, Garrett, Bristor)
SG-Taylor
F-W. Johnson
PF-Thompson
C-Hubalek
Don't know how you keep a senior Clark out of the line up, but I don't know

Re: Next Year Big 4 BBall
Sorry that is for 2008. Athletic 4 star 7 footer.

Re: Next Year Big 4 BBall
On paper, looks like we'll have the best team in the state next season. Of course, we all know games aren't played on paper, they're played inside TV sets. So we shall see.
I'm excited for next season, no doubt.

Three 3 stars.

Re: Next Year Big 4 BBall
Maybe they ought to see if they can get an exemption from the NCAA and play a little Big 4 tournament seeing as how none of them have anything else going on.

Re: Next Year Big 4 BBall
That Jake guy is taller and skinnier than Diante Garret - 6-5 and 165.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Don't know how you keep a senior Clark out of the line up, but I don't know UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...What about Craig Brackins? I know he'll only be a freshman, but I honestly think he will start over Alex Thompson...We should beat Drake and UNI fairly easy next year, especially since the UNI game is at Hilton (ISU always shoots crappy when at the UNI-Dome.) Guard Eric Coleman and that'll be the end of their hopes. McKowen and Stout are gone like you said, Stout will be missed WAY more than McKowen tho...Even though they aren't even an NIT team, I still worry about iowa...I think our advantage again is because the game is in Hilton...

no way does brackins start over thompson..if he does i will be very very impressed, the reason i say this is because they say thompson is the best post player we have right now, and also he knows the system already..do you remember how long it took for our team to learn coach Mac's system...
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -

"no way does brackins start over thompson..if he does i will be very very impressed," (quote) It is my hope that Brackins starts over Hubalek alongside of Thompson and Garrett and Brister start over Taylor and McIntosh

Re: Next Year Big 4 BBall
McD will find the best 5 and I will trust him in doing that. We will be a deep team next year.

With a solid point guard, Mike Taylor will thrive. Fewer turnovers due to the fact the ball will be in his hands less. I would love to see him running off screens for some wide open threes, instead of trying to dribble around picks for contested threes.
