Re: The Rematch
KU and UNC definitely got the tougher draw for potential 2nd and third round games of the #1 seeds. If I'm Bill Self, I'm not thrilled about playing winner of Kentucky-Villinova in round 2 and then possibly VT, S. Ill or even Illinois in round 3.
No simple task. No games are easy yet those match-ups could be troubling for KU. If I were them I'd be looking at Florida's bracket and thinking - can we trade?

The only problem Kansas has had in the last few weeks is getting down early. I assume Bill Self is giving them the old, "Uh, you guys remember we're KANSAS, right?" speech during halftime because they always come back. The tourney may be less forgiving though. Of course the way the nuked us and Nebraska it's hard to imagine that team ever losing.
A Texas-UNC showdown would be a great barometer for the state of the two conferences. That's one game I am pulling for.

Re: The Rematch
Neither Ohio State nor Wisconsin are in the final four in my bracket. I have Kansas playing Roy Williams' UNC in a battle for the championship, and if Kansas can remember that they are Kansas, then I have a hard time seeing why they won't take it all. I also have Maryland and Texas A&M in the final four.

Re: The Rematch
I just don't see Texas getting to the elite 8 let alone the final four. Are they good enough? Yea, but they are as poorly coached as any team in the country. No defense and all it takes is an off game for Durant and they are done

Wouldn't that take the cake? Bill Self have to beat Roy Smith. Tyler better wear his mask. The south was the tougfhest. UCLA play No1 in California. What a trip.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

hmmm...well i took a chance with Texas
good thing my fiance didn't let me go to Vegas

Re: The Rematch
Did anyone NOT see the USC whomping of Texas, coming? Tim Floyd specializes in taking out teams with star players. I seem to remember he did that at some other school....

Re: The Rematch
I think A&M has a better chance than Kansas and Texas to make Final Four because UCLA plays 45 minute plane flight away for their first four rounds.

Re: The Rematch
Well Texas is out already and didn't have anything to do with UCLA's bracket in the first place. :)
And A&M has a better chance because they have a weaker bracket (with Memphis and OSU), plus they play their next two games a 3 hour drive from College Station.

Not to mention, A&M is playing in San Antonio its next 2 games. Exactly one of the reasons I picked them go go far.
Also, they play great defenses and Law just doesn't miss when the game is on the line.

Re: The Rematch
A&M should be favored the rest of their bracket.
