You are right, I did miss that one. I am probably just in denial that Indiana even received a #7 seed without recording a single road or neutral site win against a team that made the NCAA tourney.

My brother in Iowa City just called me, he is frantic about our board and all the Alford negative post. LOL, the Suckeye nation is NUTS over this. I suggested he go to the next EIU Suckeye luncheon and propose extending Alford's contract for 15-20 years. Hell, we clones might even contribute to the cause...........what GREAT MESSAGE BOARD FODDER THIS IS........

If it wasn't for the financial gain to the University of Iowa, I would buy season tickets just to keep Alford there.

C'mon Stevie... Your team finished 4th place in a very very very mediocre league at best. You have Ohio State and Wisconsin and NOBODY ELSE. That is why winning ten games in the league doesn't count for much. Especially when the 4th team in the conference loses to a team with something like 14 straight losses until they play you; not to mention a lack of quality wins combined with plenty of plastering losses.

Steve, nobody is sympathizing with you. Not even 80% of your own (team's) fans. Quit your whining! All you had to do was win 2 or more games and you would have made the NIT, but even then you would still complain about not getting into the NCAA's!

No Eddie, life isn't always fair. Just ask any of us who live in or near Iowa and get the black-and-gold t__d shoved down our throats 24/7 as if there was only one D-I team in the state.
