1. Hornacek last second shot versus Ron Harper & Miami (Ohio)
Why? Because of all the last second shots in ISU history this matter on the grandest stage.
2. THe Lob out of bounds play to Thigpen at Minnesota.
3. "The Slip" - In bounds to Michalek against Nebraska for the layup with no time on the clock, only because it was so unexpected.
Great moments--all three. Just a little clarification, I believe "the slip" against Nebraska with 2 or 3 tenths of a second left was on an inbounds pass from Tinsley to Rancik (not Michalik). I totally agree with you about Hornacek's shot. He was/is my all-time favorite Cyclone & I still remember exactly where I was when I listened to that game and that exact play. Amazing!!

Jamaal Tinsley in the 2000 Big 12 Tourney Championship when he made a fool out of an Oklahoma defender by dribbling through the opponents legs, making the defender foul him. To make matters worse it was the defender's 5th foul. One of many Tinsley highlights that should be on youtube.
Regarding the "slip" against nebr, I was fortunate enough to have seats 2nd row off the floor right in front of where Tinsley took the ball out of bounds. Perfect view and you could just see it develop. The funny thing was and would make it a perfect youtube clip, is that the nebr students rushed the court thinking it was not in time. I'll never forgot watching Pete and Eric (still right in front of me) watching the replay and Pete saying "It's good!", then watching LE and players really celebrate in front of stunned and still on the court nebr fans. Good times!
